  • Assist in controlling weight
  • Consists of various vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
  • Beneficial for the skin as it removes redness and itchiness if applied correctly.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of oats
  • ¾ cup of water or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of sultanas/raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of goji berries (optional)
  • 1 banana (optional)
  • 2 strawberries (optional)

Directions:

Step 1: Place the oats and water or milk in a saucepan and place it over the stove. Leave it to cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until boil. Stir occasionally so the oats don't stick to the saucepan.

Step 2: Whilst the oats are cooking, cut up the banana and strawberries or any other topping of choice to bite size pieces.

Step 3: After the oats begin to boil, throw in the sultanas and goji berries and continue to stir.

Step 4: When the oats get to your preferred consistency, mix the honey into the oats. If you prefer sweeter oatmeal, feel free to add more honey.

Step 5: Place it in a bowl and sprinkle the cinnamon on top.

Step 6: Place toppings on top.

Now it's ready to serve!
